$5,555-To-Win Program Reset for Friday, July 22
CONWAY, Ark. (04/20/22) – Heavy rain has left the facility at Texarkana 67 Speedway too wet for this weekend’s COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil sanctioned Kenneth Mitchell Memorial.
While the doubleheader will not be rescheduled, the $5,555-to-win finale has been reset for Friday, July 22 at the ¼-mile oval located in Texarkana, Arkansas. The event will serve as the front end of a weekend doubleheader with I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.), which posts a $5,000 top prize on Saturday, July 23.
“The grounds at the track were already wet from an abundance of rain over the past week, and then the rain this morning left the facility unworkable. As a result, track officials were left with no choice other than to cancel,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan said. “While we couldn’t find anywhere on the calendar to reschedule the entire weekend, we were able to take our already scheduled July 22 event and make it a $5,555-to-win event.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.”
The CCSDS contingent now looks ahead to April 29-30 with a Natural State doubleheader at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.) and Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.)
The tire rule is a Hoosier 1350 on all four corners with a Hoosier 1600 white-dot right rear option.
